Julie Elizabeth Sinnott is a fully qualified and experienced Play Therapist who runs her private practice in Blackrock, Co. Louth.
Experience
Since 2015, Julie has been supporting children and families across a range of settings, working with emotional, developmental, and behavioural difficulties. Alongside her private practice, she has worked with voluntary organisations providing therapeutic support to children and young people.
Background
Julie originally trained in counselling and psychotherapy, working with adults before specialising in therapeutic work with children. This background provides a strong foundation for her understanding of emotional wellbeing and family relationships.
Specialist Training
Julie later completed specialist training in Play Therapy, holding a Postgraduate Certificate from University of Galway in partnership with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Play Therapy and Creative Arts (NFQ Level 9) from University of Chichester also in partnership with the Academy of Play and Child Psychotherapy.

Julie is a Certified Play Therapist and a registered member of Play Therapy Ireland, the professional body representing play therapists in Ireland.
